Welcome to the community blog spot. Our mission is to create a sense of fellowship throughout the various subdivisions for the Gordon Road Area!

If you travel Gordon Road in Wilmington NC to or from home, then YOU are the inspiration for our neighborhood community fellowship. It is our objective to engage all who want to participate in any various activities and conversations, towards the goal of maintaining, and improving our neighborhoods.

This is not a "GRIPE" page, nor a platform for advancing specific local or national agenda. It's sole purpose is to create a neighborhood dialogue & fellowship; filled with ideas, success stories, photos, information, and awareness events or issues.

Tonight's Area Meetings

Just a reminder to all Gordon Woods Residents & Homeowners. Tonight at 7:00 pm a Community Watch Meeting will be held at Northpoint Community Church on Gordon Road. Any interested area residents and Community Watches are welcomed to participate. These meetings are attended by deputies from NHC Sheriff's Department and more patrol is generally provided if needed.

Also, there has been a major attempt to tear down Community Watch Meeting Signs in all areas of our region. Please look out for this activity and email us if you have any helpful information.

Community Watches area for building AWARENESS AND SAFETY. Not to promote FEAR, and area generally welcomed by MOST residents.

We enjoy our neighborhood, and want to continue. So please help in this effort to remain "vigilante and safe".

Gordon Woods 3rd Sunday AM Community Walk

What another beautiful morning it was out walking today! Thanks again for coming out to show your support. Many of you said you wanted to see more community- oriented efforts, and have shown that by your participation. We appreciate you.

Be sure to check the Community events calendar below, as there will NOT be a Sunday AM walk next week, but in June, we will expand our community walk initiative to afternoons!!!
