Welcome to the community blog spot. Our mission is to create a sense of fellowship throughout the various subdivisions for the Gordon Road Area!

If you travel Gordon Road in Wilmington NC to or from home, then YOU are the inspiration for our neighborhood community fellowship. It is our objective to engage all who want to participate in any various activities and conversations, towards the goal of maintaining, and improving our neighborhoods.

This is not a "GRIPE" page, nor a platform for advancing specific local or national agenda. It's sole purpose is to create a neighborhood dialogue & fellowship; filled with ideas, success stories, photos, information, and awareness events or issues.

Weekend Reminder

This weekend Gordon Woods Subdivision will expand the Community Sunday A.M. Walk to the coming Monday & Tuesday afternoons!!

Many of you expressed your desire to participate & the route will still begin at the corner of Gordon Woods Road and Winter Moss Ln. Free ice cold botted water will again be provided and the walk will continue (weather permitting).

Let us know about what's going on in YOUR subdivision; such as Yard Sales, or Fundraisers, and we will post it onto our area community events calendar (shown below).

Ongoing Subdivision Events

Gordon Woods Community Residents have launched a Neighborhood Doggy & Exercise Walk! What a great way to start or end your day, while perhaps making new friends!! Coolers with ice cold bottled water are provided at the starting point (corner) along the walking route, as well as a place for plastic water bottle disposal Walk at YOUR OWN PACE, and join the community walk at any time within the hour designated. Walk for 10,15, or only 30 minutes if you choose, just come out!!

Main route generally runs from the corner of Gordon Woods Rd. to Winter Moss Ln. Then left on Winter Moss, and back to Corner of Gordon Woods Rd. (against the flow of traffic) Two laps is approximately 20 to 30 minutes. Three laps take approximately 30 to 45 mins

Come join in if you care to do so...We enjoy our neighborhoods, so let's get moving together!!
